How to make scented oils: How to make fragrance oils

How to make scented/fragrance oils ? It's not all that hard as it seems. But there is a great guide that you can find here, just in case you find things complicated.

While most people make scented oils for fun, some people make it for a nice paycheck! Whatever the cause may be, making scented oils is definitely fun. So here is a quick guide on making your very own fragrance/scented oil.

The first thing that you need to do is find a base oil. Now you could choose any one you like. For example an oil base like lavender, jojoba, chocolate etc, depending upon your mood. My wife usually makes one to seduce me ;) , but you can choose a base that fits the occasion.

I have personally tried making base oils out of almonds, grapeseed oil, jojoba oils and can say that they work great. The fragrance has a totally calming effect on the mind. So with this we proceed to the next step, which is using a concentrated oil, which will be the "body" of your scent.

This part totally depends on the kind of person you are. Literally!!!!!
If you want a girlish perfume, you can use oils that are not very strong but still give away a pleasant feeling, while men might want to use little stronger ones. I would advice men to give chocolate oil a shot, cos its something a woman will like most of the times(well 90% of them definitely will).

After preparing the perfume, if you don't get the desired results, you can always use another oil as a solvent, that can dilute the "strong aroma" of the perfume.
